Cleaning Tips

General:

Most copper can become tarnished quickly, however it is easy to get rid of the tarnish: you just need to know how to clean your copper jewellery properly. Once you know how to clean copper jewellery, your bracelet, bangle or ring can be restored to its original beautiful shine.

We use two or more neodymium magnets of approximately 3500 Gauss for our jewellery. We use only the highest quality magnets for strength and durability. Neodymium magnets lose 1% of their magnetic power in 100 years.

Stainless Steel:

We only use the highest quality stainless steel. The material is very resistant and hypoallergenic. Always start by cleaning with warm water and soft cloth. You can spray with glass cleaner to clean off fingerprints use dish washing liquid and warm water to clean tougher stains and dirt. use a stainless steel cleaner to remove stains if needed, but always read the directions and test a small area cm the bracelet first.

Copper:

Combine lemon juice (or vinegar) with baking soda and stir until mixed completely. Apply to the surface and buff in a circular motion using a soft, clean cloth, then rinse and dry. Apply a layer of ketchup to your copper product and rub gently across the surface of your magnetic jewellery.

Coloured Ion Plating:

Our ion-plated pieces of jewellery are very tough, but for cleaning please use only mild washing lotions and special gold-cleansing cloths or softy cleansing cloths, this will guarantee a long lasting shine. Please do not wear the jewellery if you work with chlorine or bleach. Although fully waterproof, it is advised not to wear your jewellery while swimming or leave it in a bathroom or any other humid place. The high air humidity can cause a natural oxidation of the metal in your piece of jewellery.

Leather:

Once your leather bracelet becomes wet, you can simply dry it in the air. Please. never put your leather jewellery on a heater or in the sun as this makes leather hard and fragile. Sweat residue can be removed with a humid cloth. Stronger soiling can be cleaned with a mild soap solution. For leather care you can use a drop of olive oil or body lotion after cleaning.

Rubber / Silicone:

Rubber and silicone is elastic and easy to care for. Please keep jewellery away from all heating devices and away from direct sunlight for long periods of time. Avoid contact with strong detergents or your jewellery could become fragile or lose its colour and litheness.

Zirconia Crystals:

Zirconia crystals look like real diamonds. For cleaning please use a polishing cloth. You can also dip the stones very shortly into a mild soap solution. Afterwards use clear water to wash up and dry well Jewellery with zirconia crystals should not come in contact with chemical cleaners.

Please do not use toothpaste for cleaning any jewellery piece with zirconia.
